“I’m passionate about teaching and helping young learners build a strong foundation in literacy. With a master’s in education from the Asian Institute College in Singapore, partnered with Birmingham City University, I have gained extensive knowledge in Early Years Leadership and Curriculum, which allows me to create a solid foundation for young learners and ensure their educational journey is both engaging and effective and helping them gain academic success.

I have completed specialized training in Early Years Education, which equips me to create lessons that are both engaging and tailored to each child's unique needs. I’ve participated in workshops on the Primary Years Program (PYP) by the International Baccalaureate (IB), where I learned how to implement Inquiry-Based Education and various pedagogical strategies into classroom practice. I also focus on integrating technology to make learning fun and interactive. I’ve received Professional Development Training from Read Write Inc. from Oxford University Press, which helps me to support effective phonics and literacy instruction that meet the needs of young learners during their Early Years Foundation Stage. I’ve completed a 120-hour CELTA course through the University of Cambridge, which has helped me teach English to students from all around the world, using methods that make learning language fun and interactive.

I hold a Fundamental Certificate in Early Childhood Education from an ECDA-certified institute in Singapore, which has provided me with a wide range of pedagogical strategies to support young children's development. Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of teaching at a kindergarten in Singapore, and I am currently an Adjunct Teacher at the British International School, where I support students from Nursery through Year 2. This diverse experience has allowed me to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and effectively meet the varied learning needs of my students.

I am committed to continuously enhancing my knowledge and skills to provide high-quality education. My approach is rooted in creating a nurturing, supportive, and interactive environment that fosters a love for learning. I firmly believe that every child deserves a strong start, especially in literacy, and I am passionate about guiding them on their journey to becoming confident readers and communicators.”
